Sun-drenched beach walks with salty sea breezes are a must here. With excellent surfing conditions, grab a board and head to Noosa, Caloundra or Coolum for more relaxed waves or Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland and Mooloolaba for experienced surfers.
The unspoilt beaches of Noosa Northshore are just a 5-minute ferry ride away while the southern seaside village of Peregian Beach offers welcoming cafes, National Park walks, Emu Mountain and the beautiful Lake Weyba offering horse riding, water sports, fishing and birdwatching. Experience one of only two everglades systems in the world and swim, kayak and play in the safe waters of Noosa Everglades in the Great Sandy National Park, accessible from Boreen Point.
From July to late October, whale watching season is in full swing, while June sees the Noosa Eat and Drink Festival kick off. Enjoy delightful degustation year-round however along with excellent nature walks, waterfalls and local attractions.
