Other onboard activities include laser tag, lawn bowls, basketball and tennis. Plus, there’s plenty on offer for the grown-ups too, including adults-only deck games and mixology classes.

Looking to relax after a day of non-stop activities? Why not visit the Spa, where you can clear the mind with a massage or rejuvenate your skin with a facial? Later, head to the child-free Oasis, where you can soak up the sun as you treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail. Or splurge and book a select suite or mini-suite to gain access to Byron Beach Club, a private retreat on the top deck with a pool, spas and extra comfy seating.

Onboard Dining

When you’ve worked up an appetite, Pacific Encounter offers a range of dining options, each with innovative and fresh menus sourced through Australian suppliers and farmers. The ship spoils for choice with several complimentary dining venues, including the iconic Waterfront Restaurant, Italian fare at Angelo’s and Pan-Asian at Dragon Lady. Or for a bit of everything, head to The Pantry, a food court style restaurant boasting a daily changing menu of Australian and international cuisine. Of course, you can also choose to dine in one of Pacific Encounter’s specialty dining venues, where P&O has partnered with celebrity chefs like Luke Mangan and Johnny Di Francesco.
